2.1.119 reproducibly breaks ALSA (the other sound driver) for me. Catting any of the new /proc/sound files gives an "invalid argument" error in the end. Catting stuff to /proc/sound/0/mixer0 gives the same error (which is how you initialize the mixer). Playing an MP3 works, all following ones yield "in use" errors. Removing the sound driver does not work then, either.
So I tried to switch back to OSS and isapnp, but I always get timeouts. This looks like I picked the wrong IRQ, which I'm quite positive that I didn't.
Anyone else have problems like this?
