SubjectProblem with parallel port sharing in 2.0.3x
Hi-

I'm have a machine with a parallel port zip drive and parallel printer.
I compiled both drivers as modules, and assumed kerneld would load them on
demand. That failed. Manually loaded them with rmmod/ismod works, but only
in 2.0.33, not 2.0.34. Haven't tried 2.0.35, but I will if people think
that would solve the problem. I wasn't actually the one doing most of the
configuration, but .config (and a bunch of other stuff) follows... let me
know if any more info is needed.

I got the following general protection fault using 2.0.34:

I saw it in the logs, along with a bunch similar to it (all caused by lpd
after the line

thor kernel: lp0: using parport0 at 0x378, polling.

Currently, I have two files, zip-setup and print-setup. When I do
zip-setup, print-setup, in sequence, the following results
