mv /lib/libc.so.5.4.45 /lib/backup/
mv /workspace/libc.so.5.4.46 /lib/
ldconfig -v

works great

I should expect the following to be normal:
(libc 5.4.46)

mv /workspace/libc.so.5.4.46 /lib

*system death for all running shared bins*

;)

things like this sometimes tend to give one a wakeup call about doing
things properly *g*
