I'm curious - has anyone been (un)fortunate enough to sign an Intel NDA and start work on porting the kernel and/or egcs/gcc to Merced/McKinley?
We do a bunch of processor simulations here and are looking at getting a simulation machine, and sometimes it is convenient to choose an underlying architecture that runs all but "experimental" instructions to speed up the simulations..
