SubjectRe: UFS and GDTH clash: UFS problem
   Date: Mon, 24 Aug 98 00:47 BST
From: alan@lxorguk.ukuu.org.uk (Alan Cox)

UFS defines SECTOR_SIZE and SECTOR_BITS in a fairly widely included
header. This clashes with the defines in the private gdth.h header.

Perhaps the UFS guys could rename theirs to UFS_SECTOR_SIZE/BITS to
fix the clash with the gdth code ?

Since I don't know if the "ufs guy" (singular, the person who
implemented most of the new ufs code) listens here, and since I merged
those bits in, I'll say feel free to submit a patch which does exactly
this to Linus. We shouldn't be using such a common name in a global
header file namespace.
