Actually, Keith, I think it's all a matter of to what kind of people the hardware marketroids target. Modems are popular, everyone has a modem. Printers are popular, everyone has a printer. Windows is popular, everyone has windows. However, Joe User doesnt need a NE2000, so no card.. Joe Sysadmin would, but he Knows about winstuff.
