Sorry for the repost but I don't think I ever received a response. The problem: I can't seem to be able to build a kernel for my diskless client. It always ends up with the ff. error:
ld -m elf_i386 -Ttext 0x100000 -e stext arch/i386/kernel/head.o init/main.o init/version.o \ arch/i386/kernel/kernel.o arch/i386/mm/mm.o kernel/kernel.o mm/mm.o fs/fs.o ipc/ipc.o net/network.a \ fs/filesystems.a \ drivers/block/block.a drivers/char/char.a drivers/net/net.a \ /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/lib/lib.a /usr/src/linux/lib/lib.a /usr/src/linux/arch/i386/lib/lib.a -o vmlinux kernel/kernel.o: In function `show_task': kernel/kernel.o(.text+0x1ae9): undefined reference to `get_wchan' make: *** [vmlinux] Error 1
Is there a fix for it? Please reply to my email address as I'm not subscribed to the list. Thank you.
