It compiles fine under egcs. Once again bitten by the compiler :-(
I'll check with 2.7.2.3 when I get back home and fix the __initdata stuff.

You mean the scrollback buffer, right? Using cat /proc/cpuinfo and dmesg | more should let you confirm if the detection was correct. Cheers,
