This was before Linus's fix in smp_lock.h. After the fix, addresses are slightly different, but it breaks at the same point. I also tried .112 on a UP machine; when compiled SMP, the kernel cycles at some address after stext_lock. Compiled as UP, it works, and seems quite stable.
