Subject2.1.111 and memory performance (much better ;-)
Hello,
I just wanted to mention that 2.1.111 is much nicer on my machine (2*P200
64MB). I did not realize that it was bad before, until I installed 2.1.111.
Now I can start netscape, staroffice, "cvs -z3 update -dP" for linux-vger
and mozilla and a make -j2 kernel and it does not hit the harddisk as hard
as before. The whole system works much better now.

the only patch I am using is aic7xxx 5.1.0pre5, to get my 2940uw running.
