Subject[OFFTOPIC] Re: Linus Speaks About KDE-Bashing
[This is my final post on this topic, because it has almost nothing to do
with the Linux kernel. It really belongs on gnu.misc.discuss, for those who
still want to continue it]

There has been some discussion of why Motif should qualify for the GPL
"major component of the OS" exception, and Qt should not. They have a list
at www.kde.org of what OS distributions include KDE (and, I would guess,
Qt). There are some major free Unix distributions on that list:

S.u.S.E 5.2
Caldera 1.2
Both major PowerPC distributions
FreeBSD 2.2.6

There are also 9 less well known distributions listed.

ps: reread the note at the top of this. Followup to gnu.misc.discuss.
