Hi, yesterday, I've got 2.1.105 working (OK, the sound setup was a bit weird) and - as a success story - arcnet is finally working !! But when I looked at my syslog, I found three different types of messages, I haven't seen in earlier kernels. Can someone please tell me, whether they are harmless, or if I should worry about them. The messages are: inetdev_event: bug (this message appeared, after I (successfully!) initialized the arcnet device arc0 with ifconfig) kmod: waitpid(5098,NULL,0) failed, returning -512 (I have no idea, what (or what module?) might be the cause) Socket destroy delayed (v=0 w=384) (No idea, too.) Ciao and thank you very much Christoph -- ** http://ourworld.compuserve.com/homepages/ChLorenz/ ** ChLorenz@csi.com ** ** No Spam ! ** No Adverts ! ** No Junk-Mails ! ** No unwanted Mails ! ** - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe linux-kernel" in the body of a message to majordomo@vger.rutgers.edu | |||||||||
