This sounds similar to problems I have encountered on motherboards with
bad layouts. (ie; the one I'm now.) It could be heat, or residual RF
possibly.

K6's won't run reliably over 66MHz bus. Fun, aren't they? What stepping is
it, BTW? Chances are it may be a .35 micron one, which I have found to be
one of the most annoying and problematic CPUs around in high-heat
environments. ;P
