Correct. I got these errors from all 2.0.* kernels after switching to gcc 2.8.0. I got tired of the warning and added a return value in the two inlines. E.g:
#undef COMMON /* added by PTB to stop compiler warnings */ return to; }
There is a case statement without a default that causes the warning.
