SubjectRe: [pre-2.1.107] kmod.c changes breaks printing.
Hi all,

Linus, is there some specific reason why you added in the semaphore
kmod.c? That change effectively moves the kmod functionality back to the
original 2.1.9x where multiple module loads were not possible. The code
for request_module in 2.1.106 doesn't seem to have any problems with being
called recursively that I can see. Care to elaborate?

Also, has anyone looked at the code I posted about a week ago showing the
reproduceable problem with kmod and the proposed fix (tested only on i386,
I'd like to get some testers for other arch's) for unblocked signals?
