Andreas,
I'm getting random hangs with 2.0.34 and I _really_ want to know where the kernel is stuck. I suspect a new DoS attack because of the pattern of these hangs. The machine will run for typically a week, flawlessly, and under load. Then, it will hang, and do so again shortly after every reboot (maybe <30 mins) in a cycle of maybe 3 reboots. Then its fine for another week or more again.
Sadly, losing the console is not an option available to us :( Any other good ideas about where to put current kernel EIP? Or can we put the console into 132x80 character mode and leave enough room for a fully functional 80x25 linux console, as well as the EIP info?
Cheers Chris
