Hi folks,

I have 2.1.10x running on two boxes here, and alpha 164LX and an SMP 4xPPro.
When the kernel boots, and mounts NFS volumes, there are lots of error message
that look like:

portmap: RPC call returned error 61
RPC: task of released request still queued!
RPC: (task is on xprt_pending)
portmap: RPC call returned error 61
RPC: task of released request still queued!
RPC: (task is on xprt_pending)
lockd_up: makesock failed, error=-61

lockd_up: no pid, 2 users??

Installing knfsd (copyright (C) 1996 okir@monad.swb.de).
nfsd_init: initialized fhcache, entries=341
lockd_up: no pid, 4 users??
nfs_writepage_sync: prior time??

Paul Gortmaker mentioned that it might have to do with updating of some
packages on the system. I installed util-linux-2.8 (including mount), and all
the stuff mentioned in the Changes file (linux-nfs, etc.), but to no avail.

Did I miss something obvious ? Is this some kernel bug ?

Any help greatly appreciated.

TIA,
Christian
