Subject2.1.106 - crc error, -- System halted.
Hello guys,

I was investigating a bug in /proc/<pid> of 2.1.105 today and suddenly
discovered that 2.1.106 is out. Ok, I though I will check if its fixed in
2.1.106.... So I compile/reboot and (using LILO) all I get on booting
2.1.106 is:

Uncompressing linux....

crc Error

-- System halted.

(message may not look exactly like this - nobody's memory is perfect).

My machine is a plain UP PII/375MHz 64M RAM, 75MHz bus speed - always
worked fine with 2.1.105 and earlier....

Regards,
