Look, if you don't know if it works with Linux.. ASK BEFORE BUYING IT. Ask here, ask the manufacturer, whatever.
And, no, I have NEVER seen that sorry excuse for a soundcard work. It's a bad SBPro clone that uses WSS ports. Just shell out the few more bucks for a decent board, PLEASE. *sigh*
