That's a pretty good sign of random memory corruption. You've got a
page table entry which looks like a null, unused page except for a
spurious bit set in the top of the word. Of course, this _could_ be
software, but I'd recommend looking at possible hardware faults first.
You can sometimes eliminate these problems by disabling the L2 cache,
for example (good for diagnosis, lousy for performance).
