No, you look. No argument about language standards can never be settled by examining any compiler's output. Ever.
The C standard specifies certain sequence points. Other than those specific sequence points, order of evaluation is undefined. There is nothing that says that in a+f(), that the value of a will be loaded either before or after the call to f().
