Just some thoughts:
1- tulip.c seems flakey also in my configuration but for DEC based cards the de4x5.c driver works (for me) like a charm.(both at 10 and 100 Mbps)
2- not a single problem with an EtherPower II using epic100.c:v0.99B.
3- last prepatches have performed _extremely_ well with very long uptimes under _very heavy_ conditions (network and disk usage) in UP _and_ SMP.
Good work Alan!
Hard: several PentII 333, 300, 266, UP and SMP Linux: 2.0.34pre14
