Subjectpre11b probs...
Hi,

Just had to reboot our server after some problems... Had a rack
of "transmit timed out, tx_status 00 status e000"s (one with 8000)
interspersed with "Host error, FIFO diag reg [08]400". And then
networking was no more :-)

rmmodded and reinsmodded the driver and then got a number of similar
looking oopses.

Server info at http://www-jcr.lmh.ox.ac.uk/ferret.html, but the big
problem is still the 3c59x driver. We went back to 0.46C after similar
problems with 0.9, or whatever's in p11b.

The machine is under pretty heavy network load, and must have done
~600 million packets in the 17 or 18 days that it lasted.

Might try p13 later.

Using `/usr/src/linux/System.map' to map addresses to symbols.

Full oops text on request...

Matthew.
