Subject2.0.33 Problem - Network dies at random times
Hello everyone.

I have a dual-processor pII/266 that I have been having an odd problem with
recently.
This server functions as an FTP site, pushing around 30 megabits per second
on average.
After a random amount of time, the kernel will simply stop talking to the
network.

Doing an ifconfig up/down fixes the problem. Since I live an hour away
from the site, it makes it pretty annoying when this happens at 3:00AM.

I have seen this problem with both the 3COM 3c905 and DEC Tulip chip
adapters.

Any suggestions?

Regards,
James Thomason
