Subjectv2.1.93: Bios forgot PCI device 39...
Hi!

Have just compiled 2.1.93 and booted sucessfully.

I have got the following message, while booting
(btw: console text output seems to be slower than in 2.1.91 ?!)

PCI: BIOS forgot to enable I/O for device 00:39, please report to <mj@ucw.cz>

Comparing both the output of dmesg and "cat /proc/pci" of 2.1.91 and 2.1.93 I
cannot find relevant differences. Only the order of checking the PCI devices
seemed to be changed. A device 39 I cannot find "by hand" in any case.

Is it a bug??? Or is the error message itself a bug???

If I can produce any other output or anything else to help, please
mail me.

OFFTOPIC:
Does anyone know anything about rumors concerning Bill Gates buying the
Copyrights of Donald Knuth's famous TeX system ?! That would be a horror for me.
I have got a mail claiming this a few days ago....

KEEP HACKING!
