that really did NOT help. i need a binary or a way to create a binary of ipMASQadm, not ipfwadm, because i need port forwarding capabilities which are included in 2.1.92, but not utility to modify the rules.

That distribution of Linux comes with glibc 2. Have a look at http://jpj.net/~trevor/glibc-patches/ipfwadm-2.3.0-glibc.diff.gz for an example of the sorts of changes you might have to make. ___ Trevor Johnson
