When I cd to /net/<anothermachine>/somefilesystem and try and copy a file to my local machine the cp just hangs. It creates the file locally, and just sits there. I can ncftp form machine to machine and I can cat the file I"m copying but the copy hangs. I can't kill -9 it. If I xkill the xterm the cp still stays there for a while before it goes away.
