Similar thing here. Two observations: 1) The hang was right after the "Floppy drive(s): fd0 is 1.44M, fd1 is 1.2M", but before the "FDC 0 is a post-1991 82077" message. (Actually, I can't for sure remember if the first message had the fd1 identified.) It appears that it is not even getting to the BusLogic probe. 2) I was able to do a three finger reboot. This indicates that it wasn't a completely hard lockup.
I'm looking into it. If anyone finds a solution, please let me know.
