The ANSI Fibre Channel spec allows scsi/hippi over fibre channel.. Apart from that there is an IETF draft about IP over fibre channel. Maybe some knowledgable linux weenie should get involved in the standards process :)?
There a few FC cards that already do IP over FC. Some of them work partially (only scsi) in linux. FC allow's for 1.05Gigabit/s. Iv'e already seen some capable of doing double that and up.
.......and so on.
