Subjectinteresting note on recent off-by-one IP attack

I noticed in the logs of my dialup machine last night that it looked as
though I'd been hit with the "nestea" attack (the skb error looked similar
at least), but it didn't cause a panic/crash. Is this attack filtered by
either of the ppp compression schemes?
