How is the 3c59x networking in the lastest patch (pre11 ??)? I'm running 2.0.32 and I've started to receive those damn
eth0: transmit timed out, tx_status 00 status 8000 eth0: transmit timed out, tx_status 00 status e000
errors.. I've also been noticing an abnormal amount of collisions from my 3c59x and ne2000 cards. In 2.0.29, I don't remember ever having these problems.. Unfortunately, I can't downgrade because I need some of the lastest networking features. Is there a patch for 2.0.32? I'd be willing to test any of the lastest patches also...
What about 2.1.x? Is the lastest 2.1.x kernel stable (more stable than 2.0.34pre11)? And how is its network drivers?
Thanks -Paul
BTW- What is the best thing to due when I start receiving those errors? Reboot or will Linux stablize the card again?
