SubjectWinbook 266XL and PCMCIA cards not recognized
Date
I just got a Winbook 266XL (very nice) with a 3com 3c589 network
and Us Robotics 33.6 modem. Everything is great except my
PCMCIA cards are detected as pcmem (both of them).

I have included /proc/pci and /var/adm/messages. I use slackware
3.4 and kernel 2.0.33.

Both PCMCIA devices are fine under win95.

Any suggestions on what can be happening here? Or what to
change?

Thanks in advance.

Jerry
