It seems that the current bttv driver (0.5.6) supports a mmap() system call. I have tried to copy the video image to memory space from video capture frame buffer by the mmap(). But I never success.
Please show me the neat code with mmap() to grab the image by bttv driver.
I use a bttv capture card with VIC (Video Conference Tool) by old bttv driver (0.4.3), which can grab the image by ioctl(). But the function is obsolete.
