How could you get APIC bus clock to be 500Mhz+? As I understand,it should be the same as your bus speed. I am not sure on it for a Pentium SMP system. But the PPro and P II SMPs give the right bus speed (66 Mhz or so)
I am using 2.1.89 kernel and testing 2.1.96 now.
