Subject[2.1.92+] Kernel Panic: Releasing swap cache pages at 00052400
Date
This is the second time this week I've gotten this crash. Net works fine
still (PPP, mail, ping, masq), I can switch VTs but no console response, no
logs, no telnet. SysRq works.

This is on a 486DX4/120 with 16M RAM / 32M swap, in the last leg of
recompiling the kernel. This server handles a few samba shares and the PPP
and masq for our office. We had an FTP going on in there, too.

SysRq showed plenty of RAM available (2M or so) with 22M or so of swap avail
(at least that's how I could interpret it).

last time it crashed this way I was comping MySQL.

Kernel version is 2.1.92 with the vm patches which were floating around here
back when '92 was all the rage.
