Experimenting with development glibc on alpha platform, I found a program that misbehaves very strangely. It runs and cannot be killed or even stopped. gdb still can attach to the program. The kernel spits exceptions at setup_sigcontext.
gdb reports: #0 0x12002b0bc in hup (sig=528484304) at signals.cc:162 #1 0x20000551660 in sigreturn () at ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/alpha/rt_sigaction.S:58
hup function is signal handler.
I think it can be very inconvenient to have a running unkillable process.
