Subject[pre-2.1.92-2] Printing gives character doubling.
Hi,
When I print to my parallel port printer in linux pre-2.1.92-2, random
characters in the output are printed twice. I didn't see this in 2.1.90,
which was the last kernel I used.

This is the content of /proc/parport/0/hardware:

base: 0x378
irq: 7
dma: none
modes: SPP,PS2,ECP,ECPEPP,ECPPS2

The printer is a HP DeskJet 600 printing through this filter:

#!/bin/sh

echo -ne \\033\(0N
echo -ne \\033\&k2G
/bin/cat
echo -ne \\f
