I'm almost always running X. Not that I'm particularly
hooked on graphics, but I like to see more than 1 terminal
and have them bigger than 24x80. I've tried other console
modes, and they're just plain ugly.

Alas, there's not much chance of MagicSysReq after a
lockup in X ...
