Subject2.1.90 broke sound support
FromChristoph Lorenz <>
Date25 Mar 1998 09:32:41 +0100
Hi,

normally, all my neccessiary sound modules (sound, opl3, ad1484, sb and mad16)
are automatically loaded by the kernel daemon, what I access /dev/audio.

It worked without any problems in 2.1.89, but in 2.1.90, it failed.

Is the new kmod replacement of the kernel daemon not smart enough
to autoload those 5 modules, or did I do anything substantically wrong?

Thank you
  Christoph
