Thanks for the responce.
So it's the drive that is not reporting a disk change. Is there some BIOS setup that controls this that I'm not aware of. I recall having an old 386 that had a ESDI controller w/floppy and it had jumper for disk change notice, however I don't believe there is anything of the sort on the newer pentiums.
