Ever since upgrading to the linux-2.1.90 kernel and installing an AdvanSys
ABP 510 Scsi Card, I have been unable to play anything through the dsp
device.
I turned down the DMA ISA transfer rate on the card and was able to access
the sequence ports and able to play CD-ROM's. The only errors the occurs
are as list in the kernel warning file.
Mar 22 22:30:50 darknight kernel: Sound error: Couldn't allocate DMA buffer
(* Occurs everytime you try to open the dsp device *)
Dose anyone know anything about this... possible reasons etc....
