Might one suggest a change of terminology?  Let's call the virtual
consoles for "VC"s, since VT is too easy to confuse with the VTxxx
series (you know, VT100, VT220, VT320 etc) of text terminals (or their
protocols) from Digital.  Unless you by "graphics app" mean using
tektronics graphics or other rather quaint formats supported by the VTs
:-)
