Have patience! It probably will be integrated into the standard
kernel, but not for a few months yet.

While e2compr is almost 3 years old now, the version that addresses
Ted's concerns has only been around for a week, so there isn't much
basis for saying that that version is stable.

Also, I'll need to improve the support in e2fsck, and make sure that
defrag works OK.
