SubjectRE: IP portfw/autofw in 2.1.x kernels?

just out of curiousity, why does a copy of every reply go to
owner-linux-kernel?

but

I just checked this --- they *are* compiled in (not as modules, but the same
problem occurs when they're compiled in as modules too) -- every time I try
to use their functionality my /var/adm/messages spits out "modprobe: can't
locate module ip_masq_autofw" -- why?? it's not compiled as a module...

This is probably going to end up being something really stupid, but it's
driving me nuts...
