Hi,
i have to correct my previous mail concerning the Gigabyte GA586 ATX3 Board + AMD K6/233. I get poweroffs regardless of using ide oder scsi harddisks. The system sometimes powers off during disk-activity. It's not a powersupply problem. The system runs with Windows95 without any problems. I now reduced the cpu-frequency from 233 to 166 Mhz and it seems to work fine, but i can't understand why Linux should only run with 166Mhz and Windows with 233Mhz ?! In the meantime i upgrade to Kernel 2.1.89 with 2.1.90 prepatch 2 and APM support enabled.
Bye, Alex
