SubjectIBM ThinkPad 380 ED and 380 XD
Hi guys,

I am sorry for the offtopic stuff but I could not find on the web any
answer to this question after at least 30 minutes of searching.

I have to choose between 380ED and 380XD IBM ThinkPad and of course it
is going to run Linux. The 380XD seems better (233Mhz vs 166MHz) but
is it okay with Linux. I mean will the CD (Sanyo?) be okay with Linux?

I am going to keep my existing PCMCIA stuff (XircomII and 33.6 Xircom
modem card which worked fine with 755c model) so I hope the new 380
(ED or XD) will not complain about it.

Any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Tigran.
