Subjectturning off udma from the bootprompt
Date
Does anyone know how (short of recompiling) to turn off udma pci
disk busmastering on a triton tx?

I want to test 83MHz bus speed, if you want to know! & I don't want my
disk to try it at the same time as I do .. but I can't turn the udma
off. I tried the bios, but the kernel unfixes my fix there. I can turn
off udma transfers with hdparm, but that's too late!

Off to the latest versions of the howtos now ...
