I installed Alan Cox's 2.1.132ac2 patch and obvserve the following:
* my network is running again... i.e. my BSD box can talk to Linux * SMTP seems fast again
x11amp is still broken. The email address given by x11amp is invalid. I don't expect much help from the authors because they've never been much help in the past.
