When the /etc/rc.d/init.d/halt is executed, all the filesystems are unmounted and net interfaces are down. How about beeping in a loop, _instead_ of calling /sbin/halt? -- Krzysztof Halasa Network Administrator of The Palace of Youth in Warsaw
