Subject2.0.36/buslogic BT930 & PCI eth0

today I replaced my wd80x3 card as the UTP port was damaged. I got a NE2K
clone and all was fine.

under DOS, the tardware test failed -- both buslogic's BT930 and the eth0
card are using IRQ9.

under linux the system went down when I tried to ping on the eth0 card.

I thought that PCI's PnP would have taken care of it, or am I mistaken ?
